But a whole world unknown
Cause no one really for certain at all

Someday she will be an astrobiologist

Maggie took that book wherever he went
Held a promininant place in her cart
Sat in the sun lookin at it all day
While panhandling in the park

There once was a rover that went to mars
But crashed and burned on the sufrace
Maggie read about the rings of saturn
On her way to the welfare office

Maggie wrote a paper for the local university
Bout extraterrestrial bacterial communities
Doctors overwhelmed by their own stupidity
Outshown by a hobo who could barely read

Do you ever wonder where philodendrons come from
When you look into the sky
Maggie knew all about methane and ethane
But only from getting high
What Maggie needed more than anything
Was an AA meeting and a good psychologist
But a dream's a dream, and as it seems
Maggie has become an astrobiologist
